The National Nutrition Council’s Radyo Mo sa Nutrisyon was hailed as Most Development-oriented AM Program during the Gandingan 2019: The 13th UPLB Isko’t Iska’s Multi-media Awards on 16 March 2019 at University of the Philippines Los Baños. This recent recognition is the 7th Gandingan Award received by the program having won in other categories.
Radyo Mo sa Nutrisyon has been on air for the past 9 years over RMN DZXL-Manila educating Filipinos on various topics on nutrition, health and features programs and activities of key government agencies addressing malnutrition and hunger. In 2015, its broadcast expanded to seven other RMN provincial stations including DYHB-Bacolod, DYKR-Kalibo, DYHP-Cebu, DXDR-Dipolog, DXMB-Malaybalay, DXDC-Davao and DXBC-Butuan. Radyo Mo sa Nutrisyon also broadcasts through online platforms such as via Youtube (RadyoMosaNutrisyonYr8), Facebook (RadyoMosaNutrisyon), Radio Mindanao Network Facebook live and over television via Cignal TV Channel 309.
Radyo Mo sa Nutrisyon Year 10 will commence airing in April 2019 which will continue to provide more updated and relevant information on nutrition and health to its listeners and followers.
Gandingan 2019 awards is organized by UPLB Community Broadcaster's Society, Inc. This year’s awarding focuses on the theme: “Midya at Bayan: Malaya. Mulat. Matapang.” which lauds for the courage of media personalities, programs, and networks in escalating freedom of information for all.
