BAGUIO CITY- To conclude the 2017month-long celebration of the nutrition month, the Regional Nutrition Committee member agencies thru the National Nutrition Council-CAR and other nutrition partners are set to conduct a nutrition walk as a way of promoting physical activity coupled with IEC on healthy diet on July 28, 2017 at the Eco Trail of the Camp John Hay, Baguio City.
This is the 3rd time that NNC-CAR organized a nutrition walk to culminate the nutrition month celebration. Around 200 participants from RNC member agencies and other stakeholders are expected to attend the estimated one hour and a half walk. Starting point is at the Scout Barrio Camping Grounds and the exit point is at the Amphitheatre, Camp John Hay. The walk will start after the opening program at 7:00 in the morning and a closing program will be held at the exit point.
Participants are advised to have breakfast before the walk and to be in their walking attires.
