BAGUIO CITY- NNC-CAR organized the first 2018 Joint Federation Officers Meeting last March 5 and 6, 2018 at the Prince Plaza Hotel, Legarda Road, Baguio City.
The purpose of the meeting was to deliver updates on nutrition and to provide a venue for discussion of the issues and concerns among different nutrition federation and association officers.
Resource Speakers from Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) were invited to discuss SEC requirements, tax payments, and other relevant reports that would enlighten the federations and associations with SEC and BIR obligations.
Director of SEC Baguio Extension Office Atty. Regina May Cajucom presented the SEC requirements while BIR Representatives Bea Camille Bayla, Justine Ivana Olarte and Jenny Chomling discussed the BIR tax payments and other concerns.
Meanwhile, the NNC-CAR Technical Staff led by Nutrition Officer III Bella Basalong tackled important information and updates from NNC-CAR such as 2017 OPT Plus Results, 2018 MELLPI, OBNS schedule, Malnutrition Interventions, Review of the First 1000 Days, Updated PPAN Matrix, BNS Program, Functionality Checklist and WHO-CGS Reports, RPRH Law, ASIN LAW, and RDC Resolution on Calibration.
Having served as a platform for discussion of issues and concerns on nutrition, the meeting also gave each of the members the opportunity to point out their organization’s obligations and requirements to enable their organization to be lawfully recognized.
