Baguio City – National Nutrition Council-Cordillera Administrative Region (NNC-CAR) FB Fan Page bagged three awards during the virtual conduct of the 2020 4th Quarter Q Webby Awards and Annual Webby Awards 2020 Awarding Ceremony by the National Nutrition Council on March 17, 2021.
NNC-CAR was adjudged 2nd Runner-up for the Highest Number of Likes for achieving the 3rd greatest number of “New Likes” for the 4th quarter of 2020. It also garnered 2nd Runner-up for the Most Visible Social Media Page for having the 3rd greatest number of people talking about the Regional Facebook page. Moreover, NNC-CAR was also awarded 2nd Runner-up for the Highest Social Media Engagement for recording the 3rd greatest number of engaged users for the quarter.
“Those awards are because of the continuous support from our followers,” said NO II Velanie Dao-ines, main manager of the page. “Some of the online activities that we conducted last quarter, especially the Nutri-jingle Competition which was participated by State Universities and Colleges in CAR, contributed a lot to us winning the awards,” she added.
NNC-CAR is looking forward to continue its steadfast commitment to promote good nutrition through highly relevant, engaging, and sustained social media presence.
“We aim to boost our social media presence this year to further promote good nutrition through interactive posts such as games, and reconduct of some of the online activities we had last year,” Nutrition Officer I Simon Copez, a new team member of NNC CAR said after the awarding.
NPC Papey and all the NNC staff are looking forward to interaction and make the NNC CAR FB fan page more relevant and useful to nutrition stakeholders.
