DCNPC Meeting Feb 8 CAR

The D/CNPC-CAR Association officers and members discuss their upcoming activities for the year. Their first activity is the 1st Quarter Webinar of the "Upskilling for Nutrition Upscaling" webinar series.

The District/City Nutrition Program Coordinators-Cordillera Administrative Region (D/CNPC-CAR) Association convened on February 8, 2022 via zoom to discuss their upcoming activities for this year.

The association, in partnership with the National Nutrition Council-CAR, has set to conduct “Upskilling for Nutrition Upscaling”, a webinar series which aims to upscale the capabilities of nutrition workers in providing health and nutrition services. The webinar series will be held every quarter. For the first quarter, the webinar series is scheduled on February 18, 2022 (1:00pm-4:00pm) in which the Nutrition Action Officers from the region were also invited. The topics to be discussed for the 1st quarter webinar are on nutrition devolution and mental health.

Moreover, the association also assigned in charges for the next webinars. The Province of Kalinga, through DNPC Kristal Gail B. Dacio, was assigned to take charge of the 2nd quarter webinar, Province of Apayao, through DNPC designate Rizel Obispo, for 3rd quarter, and Province of Benguet, through DNPC Marilyn Piok, for the 4th quarter. The association also agreed that the honorarium or token to be given to the speakers to be invited for the webinars will be obtained from the association fund.

 

As for the review of the D/CNPC-CAR Association bylaws, it was agreed upon that said document will be uploaded on the association’s group chat to be reviewed by all officers and members. Comments or suggestions on the bylaws shall be messaged on the group chat for consolidation.

The association also voted for the provision of tokens worth P3,000.00 for retiring active members, if their funds permit, as a sign of appreciation and gratitude.
