29-30 August 2013-- The NNC-CAR, in coordination with the Cordillera Administrative Region – Media Educators on NUtrition (CAR-MENU), successfully conducted a two-day Seminar-Workshop on Business Correspondence for Nutrition Workers at Hotel Supreme, Baguio City. The activity was attended by the NNC-CAR staff, Nutrition Action Officers, District/City Nutrition Program Coordinators, and officer of the Regional Barangay Nutrition Scholar Federation.

The activity was conducted to enhance the communication skills of nutrition workers of the region for a more efficient and effective delivery and dissemination of nutrition information on nutrition activities implemented by the local nutrition committees.

Various lectures and workshops shared were focused on letter and news writing; radio news writing; radio anchoring; and documentary photography which was facilitated by the officers of CAR-MENU Mr. Dexter A. See (Journalist, Manila Standards), Mr. Joseph B. Manzano (Radio Anchor, DZWT-AM) and Mr. Larry P. Fabian (Photojournalist, SUNSTAR-Baguio).
