The free nutrition services offered by the participating Registered Nutritionist Dietitians from DOH-CHD-CAR, NNC-CAR, and NDAP-BBC were nutrition assessment which included gathering of height and weight and computation of the Body Mass Index, and nutrition counselling based on the results of the assessment.

Nutrition games were also enjoyed by the clients and Pinggang Pinoy Information, Education, and Communication materials were distributed. Aside from these, the Health Emergency Management Section of the DOH-CHD-CAR provided blood pressure taking.

“This Nutrition Month Caravan is to remind the patients (clients) on what to intake since we know that during the pandemic, our diet changed. We need to be healthier so that our immune system will be stronger as well”, said Bella M.
