7 February 2023- The Cordillera Media Educators on Nutrition (CAR-MENu) elected a
new set of officers for the year 2023 during their first meeting held online via zoom.

Ms. Rimaliza Opina of Baguio Midland Courier was elected as the new president of the
organization. Mr. Dionisio Dennis of DZWT 540 as the vice president and Ms. Hanna
Lacsamana of Baguio Midland Courier as the secretary.

Planning for 2023 Media activities followed the election which was presided by the new
president. Three major activities were planned to be implemented in partnership with
the National Nutrition Council-CAR such as the Nutri-Pasada (Community Outreach),
Food Health and Nutrition Webinar Series and the Contest for Secondary / Tertiary
Schools.

Ms. Opina hoped to accomplish all planned activities for the year and reminded her co-
members that the implementation of the activities will need cooperation of each
member.

RNPC Bella Basalong congratulated the newly elected officers and thanked the
outgoing officers for their leadership and commitments.
