The National Nutrition Council- CAR conducts a joint Regional Technical Assistants on Nutrition (RTAN) and Regional Nutrition Evaluation Team (RNET) Meeting today February 28, 2023 at the Orchard Hotel, Legarda Road, Baguio City.

The meeting aims to present and discuss the following agenda: Nutrition Status of School Children SY 2022-2023 and status of the School-Based Feeding Program, Presentation, and finalization of the 2023-2028 Regional Plan of Action for Nutrition (RPAN 2023-2028), Conduct of Monitoring and Evaluation for Local Level Plan Implementation (MELLPI Pro) and Presentation of other 2023 RNC/RTAN/RNET Approved Activities.

During the meeting, Ms. Candice Salingbay of DOH-CHD-CAR and Ms. Eleonor Ayan of DSWD-CAR was elected as the Regional Nutrition Evaluation Team Chairperson and Vice-chairperson respectively.

The joint meeting of RTAN and RNET was attended by 17 agencies namely: POCOM, NDAP-BBC, DOH-CAR, UB, DAR-CAR, DOST-CAR, PIA-CAR, BSU, DENR-CAR, SLU, DOLE-CAR, TESDA-CAR, DSWD-CAR, DA-CAR, NCIP-CAR, BPI-Baguio, and DEPED-CAR.
