RONDA-I Visits MIND-7

Cebu City—Members and officers of the Regional Organization of Nutrition Development Advocates-1 (RONDA-1), an organization of local media practitioners in Region I both from print and broadcast media together with the technical staff of NNC-ROI visited Media Information Network for Nutrition and Development-7 (MIND-7) in Cebu City last August 5-7, 2015 to observe and learn strategies and concepts concerning media related nutrition activities which RONDA-1 can adapt. MIND-7, an organization of local media group for nutrition in Region VII organized by NNC- Central Visayas, is one of the most active media group for nutrition in the country. During the fellowship night, MIND-7 shared their strategies and activities on nutrition promotion and advocacies using the quad media where officers and members of RONDA-1 were able to catch ideas and concepts in helping NNC-ROI in strengthening its nutrition promotion particularly tapping the bloggers and maximizing the use of social media. RONDA-1 was able to visit various MIND-7 projects and guested in some member radio stations in the city.
