Aaron (First from right) were among the NNC’s service awardees.17 June 2019—Two (2) employees of the National Nutrition Council- Regional Office I received their recognitions as among the long service awardees of NNC during its 45th Anniversary Weeklong Celebration held at Caliraya Club Resort, Lumban, Laguna conferred by NNC’s Officer In-Charge and Executive Director III, Dr. Azucena Dayanghirang and NNC’s Administrative Division Chief, Ms. Chona Fernandez.

Ms. Ma. Eileen B. Blanco, Nutrition Program Coordinator of NNC-Regional Office I was awarded for rendering 25 years of service in the agency.

She first served as Nutrition Officer II of the Nutrition Policy and Planning Division of NNC before transferring at NNC- Region IV as Nutrition Officer III.

She was then appointed as Officer In-Charge of NNC-CaLaBaRZon and MiMaRoPa Region in 2011 and as Officer In-Charge of NNC- Cordillera Administrative Region in 2013.



In 2014, she was appointed as the Regional Nutrition Program Coordinator of NNC-Regional Office I up to the present.

During the recognition, she inspired the members of the NNC family by sharing her 25 years of challenging yet fulfilling journey in the agency.

“Working at NNC is relatively difficult and challenging but through commitment, dedication and love towards work, nothing is impossible”, she added.

Moreover, Mr. Marcelino N. Aaron was also recognized for 15 long years of service as Administrative Aide III of NNC- Regional Office I.

He shared that working at NNC is not an easy task as it needs alertness and perseverance and a lot of sacrifices.

“But I have learned a lot and I am confident that I am better person and employee now than yesterdays”, he added.

The two awardees extended their sincerest gratitude to everyone who were part of their wonderful NNC journey. KPAG
