They say that dedication and hard work pays off. They also say that if you find a job you enjoy, you will never have to get weary of it. For Burgos, Ilocos Norte, such is the case. We are always grateful to the National Nutrition Council and the Regional Nutrition Council for recognizing the efforts of the Municipal Nutrition Committee of Burgos, Ilocos Norte for the 2nd consecutive year. Although we are still to surmount the hurdle of establishing an actual officer for the plantilla and personnel for staffing, we are always grateful to the National Nutrition Council and the Regional Nutrition Council.

The LGU is very fortunate to have Mr. ORLINO USI IBUS Jr., holding the helm of this program for his unwavering in dedication to provide quality nutrition services to the Municipality. All these achievements would not be possible without the support of the town’s Local Chief Executive, Hon. CRESCENTE NARCISO GARCIA who has proven himself as truly for the people. Proof of this is his consistent presence as one of the Most Outstanding Ilokano List.

This goes to prove that any effort geared towards the community cannot be done as individuals but also as a collective. We will continue to raise the level of service we provide Burgoseños and make Burgos a Municipality to emulate even amidst all the difficulties it encounters. We thank our untiring Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) and their health counterparts in the barangay, the Barangay Health Workers, their respective Punong Barangays and Barangay Nutrition Committee.
