Cua has vowed full support to the newly-launched radio program of the school children of Diffun Central School and Cabarroguis Central School dubbed, “Batang Radyo sa Nutrisyon.”

Speaking at the recent launching of the said program at Radyo ng Bayan, 92.1 DWQP-FM, I Love Quirino Radio, Cua thanked the National Nutrition Council for bringing the program to the province saying it will not only hone the broadcasting skills of the children but it is also a big boost in the nutrition program of the province.

“We will continue to provide full support to the program and we will be providing a timeslot for it in our radio station.

For his part, station manager Dr. Marcelino Delson, Jr. said that the airing of the program is very much welcome at DWQP-FM adding that the community radio has been established as a medium of providing information to the people regarding the different programs and projects of the government.



Delson assured that the kiddie nutrition radio program will be given a permanent time slot in the broadcast programming of DWQP-FM.

Meanwhile, Regional Nutrition Program Coordinator Rhodora Maestre lauded the local officials of the province for their support stressing that the positive response of the local leaders will inspire her even more to bring more projects to the province.

Maestre said the BRSN will be an effective means of promoting good nutrition for it influences the young listeners to love nutrition.

The first airing of the program was held just after the launching where the 29 pupils who graduated from the one day training under NNC 2’s media events coordinator Domingo “Ding” T. Fugaban were divided into three group and performed the actual work of anchors, co-anchors and reporters.

They also had a chance to interview Cua, Maestre, Prov’l Health Officer Dr. Roger Baguioen and Educattion Supervisor Gloria Bacani.

During the radio program, the guests were all praises to the young broadcasters for the good delivery of the program.
