BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, April 10 (PIA) -- The SN Aboitiz Power-Magat (SNAP-Magat) recently gave P100,000 livelihood fund for a women’s organization in Bagabag town.
The fund was received by Lina Leodovico, president of the Abot Palad Association in the town with municipal officials.
Leodovico said the fund, which was earlier requested through former Governor Ruth Padilla, also the president of Abot Palada Association Provincial Federation, will be used for their rice retailing business.
“This will surely help our members who need additional sources of income so that they can support their families,” Leodovico said.
The fund was rolled out through SNAP-Magat’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
SNAP-Magat operates the Magat Hydro Power Project in Ramon, Isabela which is supplied by water from the watersheds of Nueva Vizcaya, Ifugao and Isabela. (ALM/BME/PIA 2-Nueva Vizcaya)
