dti 2MALLIG, Isabela, April 11 (PIA) -- The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) recently opened the 23rd Negosyo Center in this town aimed at bringing the agency’s programs and services closer to local entrepreneurs.

Ma. Salvacion Castillejos, DTI-Isabela head, said that the Negosyo Center will serve as a one-stop shop for start-up and business registration processes of the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Mallig and nearby municipalities.


Castillejos said it will also facilitate the implementation of development programs and provide capacity building for MSMEs on business conceptualization, management, marketing, human resource, and other aspects of maintaining businesses.

“We target to establish a Negosyo Center in each LGU regionwide to bring government services closer to MSMEs to equip them with the necessary competencies and knowledge to ensure success of their respective enterprises” Castillejos added.

Mayor Jose Calderon expressed his gratitude to DTI for putting up a Negosyo Center in this town, saying the facility will further encourage prospective entrepreneurs to do business and contribute to the town’s the economy. (ALM/MGE/PIA-2 Isabela)
