Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – The National Nutrition Council-Cagayan Valley released the third issue of the InFormation About Nutrition (IFAN) magazine at Kainang Pilipino last December 22, 2014.

The third issue highlights the nutrition achievers from the region as well as the established and implemented programs, projects and good practices that were lauded and replicated by other local government units and other regions. It also centers on the theme: “ONLY IN REGION 02” which means that Cagayan Valley Region basks in profound pride for pioneering among the good practices in nutrition: Balay ni IFAN, Batang Radyo sa Nutrisyon, Nutrikalesa and Bantay ASIN Checkpoint. The four practices are unique for the region and stand as pillars that firmly support the nutrition programs in the Cagayan Valley.

Owing to its distinctive practices, NNC-R02 entitled the third issue of IFAN magazine with Lambak ng Cagayan: A Window to the Nation. This implies that Region 02 offers itself to the rest of the country while serving as a beacon and role model through its good practices in nutrition.

NNC-R02 deemed it proper to continue its publication since it served as a very effective and efficient mode of delivering nutrition information in all corners of the region.

Members of the Balay ni IFAN Media Group also attended the unveiling of the IFAN agazine-3rd Issue in full support to its successful release.
