BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Oct. 30 (PIA)--Some Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) of Baguio City recently visited the province to observe best practices on Nutrition Program (NP) implementation.

Dr. Edwin Galapon, Provincial Integrated Health Officer and Provincial Nutrition Action Officer, said the visitors are presidents of the Baguio City Federation of Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BCFBNS) who were recently accommodated in a two-day NP exposure in the province.

“They were here to observe and evaluate our best practices, after having been adjudged as a Nutrition Honor Awardee by the Department of Health (DOH) and the National Nutrition Council (NNC),” he said.

Galapon said the visitor who stayed for two days (October 15-16) were also brought to Barangay Salvacion that was adjudged as having the Best Barangay Nutrition Committee in the province.

According to Galapon, the visitors were also shown best practices of Santa Fe town, that made them Consistent Regional Outstanding Winner in Nutrition (CROWN).
