BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Oct. 23 (PIA) – The provincial government here will be conducting a Zumba Health Fest to celebrate the 6th year anniversary of the health program.

Dubbed as “Zumbie Madness: A Fitness Health Fest”, the activity will be held on Oct. 30 at the Nueva Vizcaya Convention Center in this town.

Maybelle Blossom Dumlao-Sevillena, provincial administrator said the activity will be  in time for the Halloween observance.

“This activity intends to intensify our campaign in spreading awareness among Novo Vizcayanos about the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle through the Zumba Fitness Workout which is a good form of cardiovascular exercise and an enjoyable bonding moment for couples, friends and family members,” she said.

During the activity, Dumlao – Sevillena said the following activities will highlight the Zumba Health and Fitness Program : Group Zombie Dance Exercise Showdown and Individual Creative Costume Contest.

The Best Zumba Dance Group for the Year, Special Award as Best in Costume (group category), Shocking Zombie Duo of the Year, Most Creative OLDEST Zumie of the Year and Horrifying YOUNGEST Zumbie of the Year.

The Zumba Health and Fitness Program is one of the health programs of the provincial government which started in 2014. (MDCT/BME/PIA 2-Nueva Vizcaya)
