TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan, March 27 (PIA) – The regional Office of the Department of Agriculture (DA) here assured that there is enough food supply in the region amid COVID-19 in the region.
DA Regional Technical Director for Operations and Extension Roberto Busania said there is enough produce from our farmers and high-value crops producers
“We have our Kadiwa on Wheels moving around the region and we have also one per province,” Busania said.
He added that the 'Kadiwa' provides farmers the opportunity to sell their products and allow consumers to purchase fresh farm products at a price much cheaper than market prices.
Busania reiterated that while their 'Kadiwa on Wheels' are roving around the provinces, vendors and consumers are advised to observe physical distancing as precautionary measure against the virus

DA assured the public that they will continue to supply agricultural products that are fresh and safe to boost the immune system of every Filipino.
Meanwhile, the DA official also assured th epublic that there will be continuous supply of agri products after the department has given Food Pass to about 1,142 delivery vehicles regionwide to ensure that we enjoy a daily supply of agri products that are essential to our health.
Busania said for those who wish to avail, they can visit the nearest DA office in their areas. In Cagayan province, the Kadiwa are located in Abulug, Iguig, Solana and at the DA-Agriculture and Marketing Division, Carig Regional Complex here in Tuguegarao City. (MDCT/GVB/PIA 2-Cagayan)
