CITY OF ILAGAN, ISABELA--- The National Nutrition Council Region 02 joined in the reactivation of Cagayan Valley Information Officers Organization (CVIOO) spearheaded by the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Region 02 during the virtual meeting held on 17 February 2021.

“Its high time to reactivate this organization as we can see how vital the work of every information officers specially in times of this pandemic. The information sharing will be easier and quicker with this revitalization,” emphasized by Ms. Angely Mercado, Officer-in-charge- PIA R02.

The meeting also discussed the election of new set of officers that will lead the CVIOO for the next term. The following members and offices were elected during the said meeting:

President- Amir Aquino- DepEd R02

Vice President- Col Andrei Abella- PNP R02

Secretary- Nicky Jane Isla- LGU Santiago City

Treasurer- Charlotte Collado- CEZA R02

Auditor- Nadja Lyn Camacam- COA R02

Public Relation Officers- Renato Silao- LGU Diffun

Cluster Heads

Rogie Sending- CPIO, Cagayan for Province of Cagayan

Paul Bacungan- CTIO, City of Ilagan, Isabela for Province of Isabela

Edelita Alias- IO, Diffun for Province of Quirino

Jimmy Calata- CPIO, Nueva Vizcaya for Province of Nueva Vizcaya

The new set of officers will plan and revisit the constitution and by-laws of the organization to check the possible amendments for an improved services and activities for the years to come. A total of 95 participants including NNC R02 participated in the said reactivation meeting of the CVIOO. ### JNLB
