CITY OF ILAGAN, ISABELA----- The Balay ni IFAN Media Group held its 3rd Quarter Virtual meeting via Zoom on 17 September 2021 to update members on the accomplishment reports, remaining activities and NNC programs, projects, and activities.
In her opening remarks Ms. Maria Gisela M. Lonzaga, Regional Nutrition Program Coordinator- NNC R02, acknowledged the continuous efforts of the Balay ni IFAN Media group in the dissemination of Nutrition and Health related information.
“The Balay ni IFAN Media Group despite its busy schedule is actively participating in quarterly meetings and does its share in the dissemination of health and nutrition information to the general public particularly in this time when we should build the resilience of the populace against diseases and the pandemic.” NPC Lonzaga shared.
Mr. Edzell M. Arcinue, Nutrition Officer III-NNC R02, shared to the members of Balay ni IFAN Media Group the 2021 Nutrition Month Celebration Accomplishment report. He also presented to the Balay ni IFAN Media group the Regional Nutrition Cluster Advisory during emergencies which states among others that EO51 should be strictly enforced by the LGUs and that no milk donations will be accepted by local government units.
NPC Lonzaga shared to the members the proposed Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Movement Orientation on 14 October 2021 while NO II Ballad presented the 2021 local media accomplishment report and remaining activities.
A total of 15 Balay ni IFAN members were present during the 3rd Quarter Virtual meeting.###John Nestor Ballad
