The Regional Nutrition Cluster (RNCL) Region 02 issued Nutrition Cluster advisory amidst the onslaught of Tyhpoon Maring in the region.

The RNCL Region 02 reminded the Provincial/City/Municipal and Barangay Nutrition Clusters to ensure safety of the vulnerable groups such as children, pregnant and lactating women and elderly, in their respective localities.

The advisory also encouraged the local nutrition clusters to maintain updated inventory and mapping of the resources of their localities including trained personnel in case it will be needed during the period of onslaught of typhoon maring.

Lastly, the advisory emphasized that the local nutrition clusters should be vigilant on implementation of no milk-donation policy as emphasized in EO 51 or the milk code act of the Philippines. #John Nestor L. Ballad
