The Office of the Civil Defense Region 02, partner and members agency of the regional nutrition committee requested the members of Cagayan Valley Information Officers to widely disseminate the Typhoon advisory in all of the media platforms in the region.

Hence as a member agency, NNC R02 is supporting this advocacy of the OCD Region 02 in the information dissemination of the Typhoon advisory with the following information as relayed by OCD Region 02:

at 1PM the center of STS Maring was estimated based on all available data at 150 km East Northeast of Aparri, Cagayan or 170 km East Southeast of Calayan, Cagayan (18.8N, 123.0E)) and with maximum sustained winds of 95 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 115 km/h, and central pressure of 980 hPa Moving Westward at 20 km/h Forecast position at 11PM, 11 October STS Maring is over the coastal waters of Calayan, Cagayan (18.9N, 121.1E) TCWS No.2 Batanes, Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, the northern portion of Isabela (Palanan, Divilacan, Maconacon, Ilagan City, Tumauini, Cabagan, San Pablo, Santa Maria, Santo Tomas, Delfin Albano, Quirino, Gamu, Roxas, Mallig, Quezon) TCWS No.1 The rest of Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino

The public and DRRMCs concerned are advised to take all necessary measures to protect life and property.
