DZNB 97.5 Mhz FM Radyo Kayvayvan Nutriskwela ,Batanes’ own radio station exists at literally the tip of the Philippines. This station is based in the island of Basco, where it delivers news to the locals through its regular running programs; One of which is BatangRadyo Sa Nutrisyon – Batanes, the latest installment of the BatangRadyo Program by the National Nutrition Council.

Assistant Secretary of Health and NNC Executive Director Maria Bernardita T. Flores perceives Radyo Kayvayvanan as an “information powerhouse to the Ivatans” and claims as a fact that “separation from the mainland is no reason for information for good nutrition to be withheld from the people of Batanes.”

The Nutriskwela Radio station inaugurated last April 13, 2013.
