b93a2da7d562ffcfa5b34060bd114049 800 1200CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - - This province’s supplementary feeding program is now institutionalized after the Provincial Government of Isabela and the SN Aboitiz Power – Magat signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).

The MOA signing was made between Isabela Gov. Rodolfo Albano III and SN Aboitiz Power - Magat Joseph Yu held at RDET Building of Isabela State University (ISU) - Cabagan campus on December 7.

The implementation of a supplementary feeding program for malnourished children, senior citizens, lactating and critical pregnant women started when Albano served as the representative of the 1st District of Isabela which he continued when he assumed office as governor.

“We have thought that in Isabela, there is a need to strengthen the resistance of the youth and their parents,” Albano said.

Albano said the thrust of his administration is to invest in people, including the young ones by providing them good food and nutrition to prepare them in the future.

Meanwhile, the SN Aboitiz during the peak of the pandemic has donated 3,420 cans of premium milk amounting to P5 million to the provincial government for senior citizens to boost their immune system. 

The MOA was signed to further strengthen their corporate social responsibility with a commitment to continue helping the supplementary feeding program of the province. (MDCT/MGE/PIA Isabela)
