CITY OF ILAGAN, ISABELA----- Municipality of Gamu will conclude the last phase of Tutok Kainan Dietary Supplementation Program for nutritionally-at-risked pregnant and lactating women on Thursday, 10 February 2022 as shared during the TK DSP monitoring visit last 08 February 2022.

The last phase of TK DSP consists of wet feeding for pregnant and lactating women beneficiaries. The Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organization (ARBO) supplied the fresh commodities for the wet feeding of TK DSP such as condiments, fruits, vegetables, meat, and poultry.

The nutrition office together with Barangay Nutrition Scholars and Barangay Health workers were the forefront of the ongoing wet feeding. Areas assessed during the monitoring were preparation of food, impact to beneficiaries, issues and concerns, and challenges encountered.

The monitoring team consists of Nutrition Officer from National Nutrition Council in coordination with Henedina Cabrera, Isabela Provincial Nutrition Action Officer.###John Nestor Ballad
