City of Ilagan, Isabela-------- The National Nutrition Council Region II conducted an online monitoring of Radyo Kayvayvanan last 23 February 2022 to assess the needs, effectiveness and reached of the radio station.
The effects of previous typhoons were still felt in the radio station at the same time the effect of pandemic wherein NNC R02 cannot personally visit the radio station to assist in the technical needs on programming.
With the new station manager and active program manager, Mr. Raymond De Guzman, who accompanied the NNC staff during the online monitoring, shared all the problems encountered by the station.
Discussed during the monitoring were the next steps on how to get back to the usual programming of the station.
The station is still currently off air since December 2021 due to the damaged alternate transmitter that was damaged by Typhoon Ferdie. The PLGU of Batanes already ordered new transmitter but still waits for the delivery.
The Radyo Kayvayvanan team is hoping for assistance to NNC and PLGU once the restriction eases.### John Nestor Ballad
