Crossing borders, with its bumps and turns is no challenge for the Isabela Provincial Health Office to reach and serve our Indigenous People.

Another round of ‘Bantay Buntis sa bawat Barangay’ all the way to the coastal municipality of Dinapigue was recently conducted last May 18, 2022.

 
Hon. Reynaldo Derije, municipal mayor warmly welcomes the team from the Isabela Provincial Health Office with his message on promoting the health and well being of every Dumagats emphasizing on the importance of having a good antenatal care among pregnant women.

 
With the Dumagats, the activity aims to demonstrate basic skills on caring for a newborn as well as preparing complementary feeding, following breastfeeding, using the available food resources in the locality.

 
Also gracing the event were, the newly appointed IP Mandatory Reprentative, tribe chieftain and the presumptive mayor of Dinapigue.

 
The activity successfully concluded with the help of Dinapigue RHU staff headed by Dr. Reygene Caratiquit, MHO.
