TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – Cagayan Valley Barangay Nutrition Scholars Federation Inc. officers conducted their second-quarter virtual meeting last June 13, 2022 via Zoom meeting to discuss federation concerns, accomplishments, election of new set of officers and plan for the year.
The federation discussed the following: a) Financial Statement of CVBNS federation Inc.; b) Updates on Payment of 2020, 2021 and 2022 Annual Dues; c) 2022 Nutrition Month Activities (2022 Nutrition Month Regional Activities and Search for 2022 BNS Nutrition Heroes); d) Election of CVBNS Federation Officers and; e) Updates on SEC Registration, updating of LBP Account
CVBNSFed Inc. Treasurer Gladys Maramag presented the financial statement of the federation and gave updates on the payment of their annual dues. The federation funds include the annual dues, funding assistance to members, BNS Congress income, and others. She also reminded the officers to submit the master list of their members together with the payment of the dues.
Nutrition Officer II Frances Vea Valdez presented the 2022 Nutrition Month Regional Activities. She also discussed the mechanics of the Search for 2022 BNS Nutrition Heroes that will be sponsored by the federation. The first prize will be given P5,000, 2nd prize is P4,000, 3rd prize is P3,000, and P500 each for the consolation prize.
Furthermore, the federation also elected new set of officers for 2022. Below is the newly elected CVBNS Fed. Inc Officers:
- PRESIDENT: Hilda B. Arellano (Cagayan)
- VICE PRESIDENT: Josephine Degamo (Nueva Vizcaya)
- SECRETARY: Relina Torres (Ilagan)
- TREASURER: Gladys Maramag (Tuguegarao)
- AUDITOR: Nehemia Malabad (Cagayan)
The officers are expected to do their roles and responsibilities for all the programs and activities of the federation.
Eighteen participants composed of CVBNSFed officers from different provinces and cities in the region, together with NNC Region 02 staff, attended the said meeting. – FRANCES VEA VALDEZ
