The National Nutrition Council Region 02 held its Team Building last 5-6 December 2022 at Villa Saturnina Beach Resort in Sta. Ana, Cagayan. The Team Building Activity was attended by 8 employees of NNC RO2.

This activity aims to strengthen the relationships and strategies among employees of NNC 02 towards attaining the goals of the organization and bringing out the best in the workplace which also establishes trust and camaraderie among its employees.

The activity started with a presentation by AAI Khayla Urata on the importance of team building activity, the characteristics of an effective team, and the key factors necessary for team development. She also hosted and facilitated a 2-day activity consisting of both indoor and outdoor fun, productive, and challenging exercises/ games/ activities to improve the strategies and skills of the team. All staff shared reflections and realizations at the end of each activity, mostly towards working together, being open for constructive criticisms, and having a well-balanced work culture in the organization.

After the team building activities, the NNC O2 family had the opportunity to spend quality time and reflect on the value of teamwork. It ended the day with a fond memorable experience as a team.

The recent team-building activity was a valued and worthwhile experience that also served as a “healthy break” as the year is about to wrap up. – Khayla Mae M. Urata
