The Joint Regional Nutrition Committee, Regional Nutrition Evaluation Team, Regional Nutrition Cluster, Regional Nutrition Shepherding Team and ECCD-F1K Technical Working Group 4th Quarter Meeting s. 2022 was held last 9 December 2022 at Kainang Pilipino Restaurant in Tuguegarao City.

RNPC Maria Gisela M. Lonzaga presented the updated 2023-2028 Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition and the integration of the Regional Plan of Action for Nutrition in the Regional Development Plan. RNC members were asked to align their nutrition and nutrition-related PPAs based on updates provided including highlighting nutrition in food security.

NO III Arcinue then presented the status of submission of 2023-2028 RPAN Matrices and updates on the formulation of 2023-2028 RPAN. He reminded everyone to submit accomplished RPAN matrices for the completion of the RPAN. He also presented the 2022 NNC/RNC accomplishment report highlighting activities involving the participation of RNC members. Finally, he presented the Regional Nutrition Shepherding Team Activities in December and the 2023 RNC activities, which he encouraged every member to attend and participate.

To celebrate a successful year and the holidays, a simple year-end party was also held where attendees exchanged gifts and some delightful stories that happened in 2022 during the activities of RNC. – Edzell M. Arcinue
