Director Eduardo Janairo, Chair of the Regional Nutrition Committee (RNC) and Regional Director of the Department of Health MiMaRoPa, and Officer-in-Charge of NNC MiMaRoPa Carina Santiago officiated the Panunumpa sa Katungkulan (Oath of Office) of the new set of officers of Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) Federation of Region IV-B last May 23, 2017 at The A.Venue Hotel, Makati City. The newly-elected officers committed to fulfil their respective roles in the organization towards enjoining BNSs from the different provinces of MiMaRoPa to achieve the goal of alleviating hunger and malnutrition in the region.

The term of office of the new officers is from 2017 to 2019 which is concurrent with the term of office of their respective local chief executives.
The BNS Federation election was held at AurumOne Hotel, Makati last April 11, 2017 during the second BNS Federation meeting wherein other BNS and organizational concerns were discussed. //jlbv
