Radyo Kasimanwa is continuously working to go back on-air this 2021 with the construction of their transmitter house and new radio station. Station Manager Alfredo Araneta, Community Radio Council Chair Yuri Palanca, Program Manager Julito Tacatac and CRC Member Heidi Garcellano shared updates regarding the rehabilitation and upgrading of radio facilities and equipment during the coordination meeting with NNC MIMAROPA held on 22 February 2021 via Zoom Application. 

SM Araneta presented the photo documentation of the construction of their transmitter house and new radio station as well as the conduct of meetings of the Community Radio Council with Coron Mayor Mario Reyes Jr. Antenna tower was installed, and the radio facilities were already built and painted.

According to SM Araneta, by March this year, electric powerline will be available in the station. By then, they can start airing programs through Facebook live while waiting for the approval of their transmitter request.

With assurance on its operationalization, NPC Blanco then shared the good news to Radyo Kasimanwa as their request earned a positive response from Central Office. Their transmitter request might be granted once they are ready to operate. NPC Blanco praised their initiative to start programming via Facebook live as this will be a good opportunity to show that Radyo Kasimanwa is back for broadcast.

NNC MIMAROPA looks forward on the resumption of its on-air operation of as it continues its purpose in information dissemination for health, nutrition, and development issues.
