Each place has something delicious and unique to offer. Cuisine in Luzon vary each region but easily identified by the ingredients that are local to each destination like Pampanga known for savory dishes while Bicol is known for spicy and coconut milk infused foods. In Visayas, lechon and inasal are the most famous while Mindanao is blessed with freshest seafood and influenced by neighboring countries.
Our rich culinary tradition is part of our cultural heritage thus should be appreciated, promoted, and preserved. This celebration would enable us to ensure the transmission of vast Filipino culinary traditions to the present and future generations. It will also provide support to our farmers, fisherfolks, and to the rest of the agricultural and aquacultural communities.
