NNC MIMAROPA conducted a special meeting with its local media group – Palawan, Romblon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Occidental Mindoro (PROMO) Nutrition Communicators today, 26 April 2021 via Zoom Application. The online meeting was attended by nine (9) officers from different media entities in the region.
The meeting was initially called to discuss a new activity which will feature local chief executives, nutrition action officers and barangay nutrition scholars in the region and their best practices in nutrition, to be launched in May 2021. The project aims to recognize the efforts of LGUs in nutrition program implementation and inspire other local government units to prioritize nutrition.
As video conferencing becomes a norm nowadays caused by COVID-19, the project will use Zoom Application as its platform in interviewing identified resource persons. The interviews made by PROMO Nutri Com will be released soon via PROMO Nutri Com and NNC MIMAROPA Facebook Pages.
NNC MIMAROPA and PROMO Nutri Com believe on the use of quad media in achieving social behavior change in terms of nutrition.
