As an inter-agency activity, the Regional Nutrition Evaluation Team (RNET) conducted a virtual MELLPI Pro simulation activity to the City of Calapan on 20 May 2021 via Zoom Application. Calapan City is one of the national contenders in MIMAROPA Region vying for the 1st Year Consistent Regional Outstanding Winner in Nutrition (CROWN) Maintenance Award.
The team was comprised of NNC MIMAROPA staff NPC-OIC Ms. Ma. Eileen B. Blanco, Nutrition Officer III Ms. Camille Chen, Nutrition Officer II Ms. Bianca Estrella and Nutrition Officer I Ms. Nichole Loyola accompanied by representatives from various agencies RNET Chair Mr. Mark Lorenzo and Ms. Azalea Macabana (DOH), Ms. Hazel Gardoce (DA), Mr. Dennis De Ramos (DILG), Mr. Paul Pukias (DOLE), Mr. Joel Guevara (DTI), Ms. Fatima Grate (DENR), Ms. Lea Dagot (BFAR), Mr. Mark Guilles (POPCOM), Ms. Keren Gaya (DepEd), Ms. Jobelle Mendoza and Ms. Jane Guballa (DSWD), and Ms. Ruby Oncita (DAR).
All relevant documents were copy furnished to all participants and collaboratively reviewed for verification and insights. Prior to the validation interview, the RNET delivered findings and recommendations in accordance with the results from the desk review to CNAO Ms. Glenda Raquepo, CNPC Ms. Imee Celestino, Nutrition Officer I Ms. Hazel Masongsong, and Administrative Aide IV Ms. Josielyn Cuasay, the representatives from Calapan City.
In support, NNC MIMAROPA and RNET members to extensively assist LGU Calapan City in enduring its battle until Nutrition Honor Award (NHA), the highest nutrition award granted by NNC, is acquired.
