A continuation of the MELLPI Pro for Marinduque was conducted on 26-27 July to evaluate Ms. Maureen Leyco, Ms. Giselle Olympia of Boac and Ms. Maricel Dela Cruz of Brgy. Quatro, Buenavista as provincial outstanding District Nutrition Program Coordinator, Municipal Nutrition Action Officer and Barangay Nutrition Scholar, respectively.

The assessment was conducted by NNC MIMAROPA with the assistance from Mr. Mark Angelo Lorenzo and Ms. Azalea Malabana of DOH CHD MIMAROPA and Mr. Joel Lorenzo Guevara of DTI MIMAROPA as members of the Regional Nutrition Evaluation Team.

During the second day of evaluation, an interview was conducted to BNS Dela Cruz facilitated by NO II Bianca Estrella and NPC Blanco with RNET followed by an examination which was administered virtually by NO III Camille Chen.

Further to feedbacking session, NO II Estrella presented the initial findings and recommendations to all local nutrition workers evaluated highlighting the actions to further their performance in carrying out their core functions in line with delivering nutrition services in their locality.

Towards the end of online assessment, each local nutrition workers expressed their gratitude to the RNET and positively received the findings and recommendations. According to DNPC Leyco, the recommendations presented will be helpful in improving their functions. Congratulatory remarks from RNET Chair Lorenzo and NPC Blanco were expressed to the nutrition workers for reaching this level of evaluation.
