Provincial Outstanding Barangay Nutrition Scholar of Occidental, Ms. Ofelia Collado of Brgy. San Francisco, Sablayan was evaluated on 29 July 2021 via Zoom Application.

Present during the evaluation were the NNC MIMAROPA led by NPC Ma. Eileen Blanco and Regional Nutrition Evaluation Team composed of Mr. Mark Lorenzo and Azalea Malabana of CHD MIMAROPA, Mr. Mark Guilles of POPCOM MIMAROPA and Mr. Dennis de Ramos of DILG MIMAROPA.

Prior to the evaluation proper, BNS Collado was interviewed about her work and experiences as volunteer nutrition worker. Interview is one of the components in obtaining the final score of Regional Outstanding BNS which determines her confidence, communication skills and critical thinking.

Subsequently, an exam was facilitated by NO III Camille Chen in the Zoom Breakout room while the RNET proceeded to the evaluation.

In the afternoon, feedbacking was conducted presenting the initial results and recommendations highlighting the rooms for improvement of BNS Collado. NNC MIMAROPA and the evaluation team was joined by the Provincial Nutrition Office spearheaded by Dr. Arceli T. Rebong.
