City Nutrition Program Coordinator and outstanding Barangay Nutrition Scholar of Calapan City were assessed in terms of their nutrition program management functions by NNC MIMAROPA and Regional Nutrition Evaluation Team composed of Mr. Mark Lorenzo and Ms. Azalea Malabana of DOH CHD MIMAROPA on 2 August 2021.

A opening message was delivered by NPC Blanco followed by the introduction of the activity for the day.

Before going thorugh the documents, an interview with BNS Mañibo was conducted faciliated by NO II Bianca Estrella and NPC Blanco. Right after, NO III Camille Chen administered the examination in Zoom breakout room while simultaneously, RNET reviewed their documents and scored per management dimension.

In the afternoon, initial results and recommendations were presented based on the evaluation. Feedbacking was also joined by representatives from DSWD MIMAROPA and staff from City Nutrition Section led by CNAO Glenda Raquepo.

Towards the end of the activity, NPC Blanco delivered her message to formally close the activity. She emphasized the good performance of Calapan City and that resulted also from the great efforts of the local nutrition workers. She also extended her gratitude to the RNET for always joining NNC MIMAROPA in its MELLPI Pro activities this year.
