08 2021 National Hospital Week

NNC MIMAROPA is in one in the annual celebration of 2021 National Hospital Week with the theme Ospital: Sandigan at Kaagapay sa Panahon ng Pandemya every 6th to 12th of August pursuant to Proclamation No. 308, s. 1952.

As hospitals are known to promote and conserve the overall health of individuals, its roles and functions have been more challenging in the context of COVID-19 pandemic. Individuals severely affected by the coronavirus in the Philippines are increasing which results to critical to full bed capacity of majority of the hospitals.

Nevertheless, hospitals have been continuously operating amidst any dilemma. To ensure that hospitals are effectively delivering the treatment and care specialized from the least to most malignant cases, organizing bodies of the national to the barangay levels should be fully functional. Each aspect should be foreseen starting from the construction of building, to establishment of healthcare services, up to its maintenance of overall status.

Without hospitals, people won’t be able to receive the basic services such as primary care, mental health and treatment, infectious disease control, hospice care, dental concerns, translation and interpreter services. Join the National Nutrition Council MIMAROPA Region as we recognize and celebrate each hospital, health worker and health systems nationwide.
