NNC MIMAROPA spearheaded by NPC Ma. Eileen Blanco conducted the second online monitoring to Radyo Kaunlaran -- Nutriskwela Community Radio Station in Bansud, Oriental Mindoro on 13 September 2021 via Zoom Application.

Monitoring team composed of NPC Blanco, Nutrition Officer III Camille Chen and Nutrition Officer II Bianca Estrella were joined by Station Manager Cresentina Salapare. Through video call, SM Salapare was able to show the necessary equipment and documents to be checked such as the antenna tower, audio mixer, CD player, operations log, and displayed program schedule, signal map, editorial policy, radio station policy and license to operate.

SM Salapare mentioned that they received positive feedbacks from its listeners via SMS, Facebook messenger and even personal interaction. Most of them are thankful for the information on nutrition, First 1000 Days and COVID-19 updates and for the entertainment it offers especially to the Mangyan communities.

Radyo Kaunlaran is one of the four Nutriskwela Radio Station in MIMAROPA which was established in 2013 in partnership with Polytechnic University of the Philippines - Bansud and the Local Government of Bansud.

Monitoring to nutriskwela radio station is conducted bi-annually. Due to restrictions brought by COVID-19, the region adopted the online mode of monitoring to check the operations of the Nutriskwela radio stations in MIMAROPA.
