Puerto Princesa City contenders, City Nutrition Program Coordinator Rafaelito Delos Santos and Barangay Nutrition Scholar Gina Taghap completed the list of regional contenders for outstanding local nutrition workers as the Regional Nutrition Evaluation Team conducted their performance assessment last 20 August 2021 via Zoom Application.

RNET composed of Mr. Mark Lorenzo and Ms. Azalea Malabana of CHD MIMAROPA, Mr. Joel Guevara of DTI MIMAROPA and Mr. Dennis G. De Ramos of DILG MIMAROPA evaluated the performance of the two nutrition workers in delivering the services to their community through the documents provided.

An interview to each LNWs was also done to measure their communication skills and experience. Simultaneously, the exam for BNS which measured the knowledge on nutrition concepts was facilitated by NO I Patriarca in the break-out room while the desk review was on-going.

RNET Chair Lorenzo in behalf of the evaluation team formally closed the activity after the feedbacking session in the afternoon with a congratulatory remark to the contenders and expressing gratitude for their continued efforts in health and nutrition despite of the current situation.
