With the conclusion of the performance assessment of the regional contenders for outstanding local nutrition workers that ran from 28 June – 20 August 2021, NNC MIMAROPA and Regional Nutrition Evaluation Team conducted the deliberation of results last 23 August 2021 via Zoom Application attended by 16 participants from 14 regional line agencies.

The team finalized the results for Provincial Nutrition Action Officers, Municpal Nutrition Action Officers, District/City Nutrition Program Coordinators and Barangay Nutrition Scholars from the presentation of summary of scores and major findings during the evaluation.

The deliberation was coincided with the meeting of Regional Nutrition and Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Technical Working Group. Nutrition month accomplishments and post-activities of NNC MIMAROPA and the activities conducted by several agencies in celebration of NM were presented by Nutrition Officer I Loyola. Provincial Nutrition Focal Point Bacena also reported the updates on First 1000 Days Program and Tutok Kainan Dietary Supplementation Program to the group.

At the end of the meeting, NPC Blanco thanked the RNET for their participation in the MELLPI Pro and encouraged them to join the remaining MELLPI Pro activities for Local Government Units which will be conducted in September to October 2021.
