NNC MIMAROPA conducted its staff meeting on 2 September 2021 to discuss upcoming activities for the month of September. 

Nutrition Program Coordinator and OIC Ma. Eileen B. Blanco facilitated the discussions on the status of preparations for the Nutrition Stakeholders' Forum and Joint MIMAROPA Barangay Nutrition Scholars and District / City Nutrition Program Coordinators Summit to be held on 16 and 24 September, respectively. The Nutrition Stakeholders' Forum aims to further extend the advocacy on investing in nutrition to MIMAROPA local chief executives in preparation for the upcoming devolution next year. On the other hand, the Joint MIMAROPA BNS and D/CNPC Summit aims to not only be a medium of information transfer, but also a means of enabling the development of suitable short- and long-term plans that will ease the psychological burden and uplift the mental health and overall wellness of the BNSs and D/CNPCs during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

A discusion on the Early Childhood Care and Development in the First 1000 Days and Tutok Kainan Implementation were spearheaded by Provincial Nutrition Focal Point Francis Erik P. Bacena and Nutrition Officer I Ace Van Earl T. Patriarca, which was followed by finance and administrative concerns. 

It is envisioned that as we approach last month of the third quarter for 2021, NNC MIMAROPA continues to deliver quality nutrition assistance to all its stakeholders.
