With the success of the Dialogue with Local Chief Executives (LCEs): Enabling Nutrition Devolution and Dialogue with Punong Barangays: Enabling Nutrition Devolution held last 30 July and 4 October 2021, respectively, the NNC will conduct the "Youth Webinar on Nutrition" via Zoom Webinar on 24 November 2021 from 1:00 - 4:30 PM. This will be the 3rd sequel of our local government unit mobilization efforts for nutrition which will focus on the youth sector. 

This youth webinar is to develop appreciation among the youth sector on the importance of investing in nutrition and their roles in the nutrition programs. The activity aims to involve the youth sector in several initiatives on nutrition through its inclusion in their sectoral plans and budgets and through the adoption of nutrition interventions from the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN) 2017-2022 specifically focusing on adolescents or teenage pregnant women. 

In this regard, the LGUs are requested to disseminate the attached advisory from DILG and encourage the youth sector to register and attend the event.
