The PROMO Nutrition Communicators convened for the last quarter to plan their 2022 activities on 1 December 2021 via Zoom. The planning meeting was attended by eight (8) members and facilitated by NNC MIMAROPA spearheaded by NPC Ma. Eileen Blanco.

Updates on the 2021 Social Behavior Change and Communication Work and Financial Plan were first discussed by NO II Bianca Estrella with almost all the projects and activities were already accomplished.

It was then followed by presentation of the proposed 2022 activities and projects which includes the airing of Nutrition School on Air, One Nutrition One Nation, PPAN plugs, and nutrition messages produced by PIO Palawan. The release of 2022 issue of MIMAROPA Nutri-times and reproduction of IEC materials are also included in the proposed plan.

Second part of the meeting was the brainstorming and planning for the nutrition media conference and production of video documentary featuring the success stories in nutrition. Members were eager to pursue the media conference in a blended mode of activity and suggested topics for discussion.

Further, the meeting fruitfully ended with hope for the situation to get better and everyone are safe amidst the pandemic as PROMO President Voltaire Dequina and NPC Blanco emphasized.
