On the 8th day of February 2022, 12 NNC MIMAROPA staff convened for the monthly staff meeting presided by NPC-OIC Ma. Eileen B. Blanco via Zoom Application, 1:30 to 4:15 PM.

NO III Chen facilitated the discussion on schedule of activities for February 2022 which includes monitoring to programs – Early Childhood Care and Development-First 1000 Days, Tutok Kainan Dietary Supplementation Program, Nutriskwela Community Radio Stations, and Early Warning Systems. Regular NNC-led meetings shall be conducted and interagency meetings to be attended as invited.

In response to Typhoon Odette and to prevent worsening of the nutritional status of widely affected communities in Palawan Province, NNC MIMAROPA and UNICEF hired an Information Management Officer to assist in data collection and analysis. As such, IMO Notario shared her plans and activities for the month to the body. Should there be any changes, NPC-OIC Blanco should be informed.

AA VI Cordero and AA VI Dalisay were commended for their job well done for liquidating 100% of the 2021 funds. It has also been reported that NNC MIMAROPA has received a total of five (5) funds for utilization in year 2022. NPC-OIC Blanco provided strategy to the body how to hasten up liquidation for this year.

PNFP Bacena and PNFP Loyola provided updates on ongoing consolidation of masterlist of beneficiaries and directory of focal persons for Tutok Kainan implementation in Occidental Mindoro and Marinduque, respectively. Should situation permit in upcoming months, PNFPs shall physically monitor the LGUs.

NNC MIMAROPA shall continue conducting promotional activities to further improve nutrition situation in MIMAROPA Region. Together  Everyone Achieves More – Let’s go Team MIMAROPA!
