The National Nutrition Council (NNC) officially launched its first electronic learning course on Local Nutrition Program Management in 2021 with almost hundreds of enrollees from all over the Philippines. Despite the pandemic, NNC continues to offer an alternate learning mode for people directly involved in local nutrition program management to develop their skills and align their projects, programs, and activities with the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition, the country's framework for nutrition improvement.

The National Nutrition Council will reopen its e-Learning course on Local Nutrition Program Management in 2022 (schedule to be announced) for individuals interested in the course. Participants may earn up to thirty five (35) units of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) from the Professional Regulations Commission upon successful completion of the course.
