This electronic tool is used by nutrition workers in the community to help them record, interpret, and summarize results of the OPT Plus—the measure of the nutritional status of children 0-59 months old. The key features of the 2022 e-OPT Tool include the following:
- Autofill of population data in the Summary worksheet, as well as auto-labelling of the Philippine Standard Geographic Code (PSGC) for each barangay.
- The counts of mothers/caregivers of children classified as having undernutrition and overnutrition.
- The count of the number of children with either weight or height measurement missing or those with incomplete information.
- Additional columns have been added to highlight children 0-23 months old in the Summary table to show the total number and prevalence in each of the three nutrition status
- The tally of children belonging to the Indigenous Peoples (IP) groups according to the nutritional status classification in each of the three nutrition status indices.
