The 2022 e-Learning Course on Local Nutrition Program Management will officially begin its first batch on 1 April. This e-Learning course was primarily launched last 2020 as part of the continuing education even during the pandemic for our local nutrition champions involved in nutrition program management.
Last 2021, thirty-one (31) participants have completed the course and received a certificate of completion from the MIMAROPA region alone. This year, the e-Learning course will be conducted in three batches that will run on the following schedules:
Batch 1: 1 April to 10 June
Batch 2: 13 June to 4 September
Batch 3: 12 September to 30 November
Participants may choose their preferred schedule and study on their own pace which is the main selling point of this e-Learning course. They do not need to attend classes, instead they are given modules and they can study and take the quizzes and final exam in their preferred schedule and at the comfort of their homes or workplaces.
Participants can also choose their mode of learning: online or offline. This was made to give way to those areas with slow to no internet connection. A flash drive containing all the necessary learning materials was initially given to different LGUs and they will facilitate the sharing of files for the participant’s perusal. If flash drives are not available, the participants may opt to download it in the NNC website https://nnc.gov.ph/downloads/category/240-npm-usb-version. Meanwhile, the online learners may register using this link http://elearning.nnc.gov.ph/
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) units is now being processed under the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). A total of 35-40 CPD units will be provided for selected professions and number of credited units will depend on the participant’s profession.
